The Enchanted Closet

This past summer I joined up with a few wonderful ladies and we decided to start selling our boutique children's clothing and accessories. We call ourselves The Enchanted Closet (or The*Enchanted*Closet on eBay). We are a very small group right now, but we are a diverse group; and I am beyong excited to be a part of it. We currently are in the middle of our "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" Valentine's Day launch. Here is the outfit I made for the launch.

To see the rest of the offerings, please search TEC Boutique or just follow this link.....

Wow!! It's been a long time

Well, I started this blog with the best of intentions, but life has a way of getting in the way, doesn't it? So, what have we been doing?

Well, soon after I wrote me first and only post, school started up in full swing. For many people, that means a little bit of free time, but not me. This past fall we started our first year of homeschooling. Our oldest stayed home for school this year, but our youngest has continued to attend the local public school. We spent the past few months learning to juggle homeschool with public school, and I think it is going okay. However, I'm excited at the prospect of having both our girls home next year.

We decided to use Adventures in My Father's World for our homeschooling this year. It has been a lot of fun and very eye-opening for my 9 year old daughter. We have read many wonderful stories about girls and boys about her age, and she can't get over how many responsibilities these children had during our nation's formative years. I've told people that we have both enjoyed homeschooling and we have, but it often doesn't seem as if I'm actually teaching anything. However, I know the things we talk about are sticking with her because she can recall it weeks later, so I guess we're doing okay.
